Global Account helps SMEs do business internationally through simplified account opening, our knowledge of local regulations and additional global solutions to help you grow. It provides secure online visibility and control of your international transactions through Access Online, our secure electronic banking platform.

Global Account is currently offered in 14 countries of our international network. These countries are: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, the Republic of Ireland, Spain, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, and the USA. It offers an efficient global banking service for customers with a turnover of €2m and over.

Account opening

You can open a Global Account in six easy steps that your Relationship Manager will take you through.

Step 1: Defining your requirements
We walk through your exact requirements; including those relating to country-specific laws and to your electronic banking needs (e.g. number of users). This will ensure that we identify at the outset if Global Account is the right solution for you and if not we will work with you to identify the right solution.

Step 2: Initial documentation
We work with you to complete initial account opening documentation and guide you through our standardised pricing.

Step 3: Full documentation
We will provide you with a list of all the documentation required to open your account. This will include Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation required by law, please note that this may vary from country to country.

Step 4: Completing the documents
Once you complete the required document, return them to us using the reply-paid package provided.

Step 5: Training
We can arrange for you to undertake training on our Access Online, Online Client Service and MaxTrad electronic banking systems, at a time that’s convenient to you.

Step 6: Welcome call
You will receive a welcome call from our dedicated client services support team to inform you that the account has been opened and you are ready to use your Global Account.
