Bank account fraud - including cheques, payments or debit card transactions

Do you suspect that you've been the victim of fraud - or have you noticed any suspicious transactions on your NatWest account?

You can report this to us by telephoning 0345 300 3986 (Monday to Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday 8am-6pm and Sunday 9am-5pm) or by contacting one of our branches.

From outside the United Kingdom, please telephone (0044) 125 230 8047. You can reverse the charges on calls from abroad.

Credit card fraud

If you need to report fraud in relation to a NatWest credit card, you should telephone 0345 300 4350 (24 hours a day).

From outside the United Kingdom telephone (0044) 1268 508 020 (24 hours a day). You can reverse the charges on calls from abroad.

Calls may be recorded. 

Report suspicious emails and scam

Fraudsters often send random emails pretending to be from banks.

If you have received a fraudulent or suspicious email, and not responded to it, please forward the e-mail to phishing@natwest.com.

However, if you have responded to the e-mail, and/or you suspect that any of your accounts with us have been accessed online by someone other than yourself, please contact us immediately on 0345 301 5748 (Minicom 0835 900 5961). When calling from abroad please dial +44 131 523 7766 (Minicom +44 118 963 9148).

Report a suspected scam

Remember, if an offer appears to be too good to be true, it usually is - don't respond to any unsolicited communication which promises money in return for you making a payment and if someone is claiming a refund from you make sure their payment cannot be returned unpaid before releasing funds.
